Adam Echelman is the Program Director of the Legal Literacy Initiative, a grassroots effort to bring relevant legal resources directly to the communities that need them. A graduate of Yale University and a Gordon Grand Fellow, Adam has worked as a paralegal with RAICES Texas at the Karnes Detention Center and as a refugee coordinator with Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services in New Haven, CT. In his spare time, he volunteers with Ayuda, where he is training to become a BIA Accredited Representative in immigration law. Despite his New England roots, Adam can proudly name the six flags of Texas history.
