Patrick Mount

Patrick Mount is the Director of Information Technology with the 32,000-student St. Vrain Valley Schools in Colorado. His team's focus on data and systems has recently included processes to support Colorado's Student Data Transparency and Security Act, one of the first and tightest educational data privacy legislation in the nation.

Patrick is a former high school mathematics teacher, and maintains the passion for student learning in his current role. He holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Colorado, an MS in Mathematics Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and is a Harvard University Strategic Data Project Fellow. Patrick Mount enjoys recreating in the Rocky Mountains and is blessed with a wonderful wife, four children, and two grandchildren.
