Dawn Mann

Dawn Mann, Founder and Executive Director of Dance Another World is a local Austinite. After her time traveling overseas and teaching English and dance, she discovered the concept used in Dance Another World. Mann studied Integrated Communications at the University of Houston with a minor in Religious Studies and is now working on her Masters in Public Administration. Mann is engaged and will be getting married just a month and a half after SXSW EDU to her childhood best friend. She and her fiance spend their free time with family, friends, their two dogs or going on adventures. Dawn currently serves on the Board of Directors for Texas Association Nonprofit Organization and is also on the Capacity and Advocacy Committee for Learn All The Time. She is a passionate leader with drive to make the world a better place. Being a teacher and a student, in various capacities, is what's most important to her, as well as sharing kindness and encouragement with her community. Mann is always open to collaborations and is an innovative business woman.
