Francesca Manheim
Francesca (Henderson) Manheim is a California State Park Ranger serving as the PORTS Interpreter at the Crystal Cove State Park location, where she teaches students grades K-12 about Tidepool Ecology and Habitat Restoration. In this role, Francesca translates complex scientific, historical and cultural concepts into a language that the general public can understand.
Prior to this, Francesca was a manager for the Central Coast Aquarium in Avila Beach, CA where she taught hands-on marine science lessons to students of all ages. Before that, she worked for the Fire-Rescue Department of San Diego, where she educated children about beach safety, ocean environment and local marine life.
