Elizabeth Lindsey

As CEO of Urban Alliance Elizabeth Lindsey supports the organization's strategy, fund development, and dynamic team to connect high school students to equitable, inclusive careers through paid work experiences, mentorship, and professional development.
Previously, Elizabeth was the CEO of Byte Back, a nationally recognized tech equity nonprofit that expanded significantly under Elizabeth’s leadership. As CEO she was named one of the Root 100 most influential African Americans of 2019. Before joining Byte Back in 2015, Elizabeth served as Chief Operating Officer of Groundswell, where she oversaw its evolution from a community nonprofit into a nationally recognized social enterprise. Elizabeth is a proud resident of Washington, DC where she lives with her wife, two daughters, and a puppy.
