Mindy Porter

Mindy Porter is the Director of Education at the Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville, Arkansas. She joined the core leadership team in 2013 prior to the museum opening to the public in 2015. Utilizing her 14 years of science museum experience, she created the vision for the education department including educational approach, staffing structure, operational models, and programming. Mindy has taken the vision from concept to reality through the course of the opening year of the Amazeum. Mindy oversees the team responsible for key impact areas of the museum including Unfield Trips, early childhood education programs, tinkering initiatives, guest experiences, and specialized workshops and camps for a variety of audiences. Mindy is a summa cumme laude graduate of Missouri State University of Springfield, Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
