Matt Taylor

Matt Taylor is the Director of Data and Analytics at Fortune School of Education, a high performing network of schools serving predominantly low-income students in Sacramento and San Bernardino. Prior to this role, Matt was the Director of Research at the California Charter Schools Association where he conducted research and evaluation in the areas of assessment, accountability and school performance. Matt has also served at the California Department of Education, California Prison System, and California State Auditor. Matt was elected to the Yolo County Board of Education in 2014, where he currently serves a trustee. for the Matt resides in West Sacramento with his wife and three kids. Matt earned his Master's Degree in Public Policy with a focus in American politics and Economics from Pepperdine University.
