Kevin Brown
Dr. Kevin Brown has served as Superintendent of Alamo Heights ISD since 2008. He has successfully led AHISD through a major, collaborative strategic planning process, as well as the development of the AHISD Profile of a Learner, which describes the characteristics and attributes desired for 21st century students. Dr. Brown has taught graduate courses at Texas State University and has guest lectured at Trinity University. He serves in numerous leadership capacities at the state-level including: Past President, Texas Association of School Administrators; President, Texas School Coalition; Member, Legislative Council for the U.I.L.; and the Steering Committee for the Go Public Campaign.
In 2015, he was named Region 20 Superintendent of the Year and was a finalist for Texas Superintendent of the Year. He advocates at state and national levels to help transform public schools to better meet the needs of 21st Century learners.
