Founder of EDUCATE, a physical and virtual working space where EdTech SMEs and researcher entrepreneurs will work together with research and business experts. Professor of Learner Centred Design at the UCL London Knowledge Lab. background in Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. With Nesta produced the influential ‘Decoding Learning’ report, wrote ‘Intelligence Unleashed: An argument for AI in Education’. Rose works closely with the Education business, in particular SMEs and StartUps, with whom she collaborates to enable them to integrate research evidence and methods into their technology development. Successfully managed several substantial research projects with multiple partners, published widely in academic journals, conferences and books. Rose has taught in schools, Further Education and University, currently Governor at St Paul School. Advisor in research councils of various countries on the design and use of educational technologies.
