Kyleigh Nevis
Kyleigh Nevis works for Oakland Unified School District, primarily focusing on building capacity throughout all schools around the use of edtech applications and blended learning practices that underpin successful implementation. She has also worked to increase the efficacy of instructional technology and provide actionable data that can be used to drive student achievement and close equity gaps. Beforehand, Kyleigh worked for ConnectEd California: The California Center for College and Career, where she provided professional development around digital tools designed to facilitate pathway development as part of the Linked Learning approach. In 2012, Kyleigh served as an instructor for an afterschool program sponsored by the Bay Area Video Coalition in San Francisco. While education has been a common thread in all of Kyleigh’s professional pursuits, her passion for serving youth is rooted in this experience and marked her transition to public education.
