Kerrie Patterson-Brown
Kerrie Patterson-Brown is an experienced educator, coach and former student athlete who was intrigued by the development of students and the way they learn. Kerrie is determined to produce a catalyst of change and growth in the academic and athletic arena, by commingling the parity of successful students and a mental, physical, and social cognizant student. With her husband Reggie Brown - a former football player at Texas A&M University and a first round draft pick for the Detroit Lions - the two partnered together to open Legacy The School of Sports Science. A graduate of Texas A&M University and Texas Southern University (where she completed her Ph.D in Higher Education), Kerrie was Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Huston-Tillotson University for 9 years and Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach for Texas A&M University for two years.
