Franklin Foster
Dr. Foster is a native of Gaffney, South Carolina and the superintendent for Colleton County School District. He is committed to ensuring students have ample opportunities during their Kindergarten through 12th grade education to be college and career ready. This is evident in the small rural school district he leads through initiatives such as, the elementary and middle school Robotics program, promoting science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), the success of the Cougar New Tech Academy at the high school and expanding the New Tech practices throughout the district.
Dr. Foster holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Limestone College, a master’s degree in education and education specialist degree in administration. He earned his doctorate in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
