Nancy Brown

After completing 35 years of military service, Vice Admiral Nancy E. Brown (U.S. Navy, Ret.) has served as an Outside Director of Systematic Software Engineering, Inc, on the Board of Advisors for Enlightened, Inc, The EDGE, and Kingfisher. She is on the Board of Directors of the United States Naval Institute and is Chair of the Board of Directors of Homeward Deployed. As a member of Mission: Readiness, a non-profit, non-partisan organization of more than 500 retired admirals and generals, she advances national security by advocating for wise investments in education and health for the nation's children. The organization's work is especially important since more than 71 percent of the nation's young adults cannot qualify for military service because they are educationally unprepared, physically unfit or have a criminal record.
