Jeffrey Bennet
As a project manager at Academic Innovation, Jeff pulls together the skills, talent and resources needed to bring a faculty member's vision for a digital learning initiative to life by collaborating with faculty, course teams, instructional designers, digital media specialists and external platform partners to design, develop and deliver innovative and engaging digital courses and learning initiatives. Before joining the Office of Academic Innovation, Jeff helped relaunch the Open Michigan initiative at U-M Health Information Technology and Services. At Open Michigan, Jeff provided consultation to faculty members interested in the design and publication of open educational resources in addition to ensuring service alignment with faculty needs. Prior to his time at U-M, Jeff was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic where he worked with rural computer lab technicians and community teachers to integrate the use of technology into a primary school curriculum.
