With over twenty-two years of teaching experience, Amy Ryan is currently a teacher for English learners at Amqui Elementary School in Nashville, Tennessee. As a practitioner of the Cultural Humility framework and Courageous Conversations protocol, she works and learns alongside students, families, and the larger refugee and immigrant communities that the Metro Nashville Public Schools District serves.
