Spencer Chandlee

Spencer is a current Senior at Avenues: New York, a high school in New York City. Spencer has been a part of Design for Impact (D4i) for the last three years, rising from member and facilitator to eventual lead of the Research and Development team. Besides assisting in planning and running individual events as part of the startup, he has also been a large part of building out newer projects such as a summer bootcamp, a competition team within D4i, and the agency model that currently exists. Spencer has interned with design firms like SYPartners in New York City, working in part with teams and mentors on projects with Chipotle, Coach, and Unstuck, the firm’s internal company. In his Sophomore he partook in an internal internship with CocoaCompassion, developing a five-year plan for the socially responsible chocolate company as well as establishing the flagship for the student ambassador program within the organization. Spencer holds leadership positions in multiple other extracurriculars such as being the Director of the Digital Team of the school publication, the Highliner, a board member on Model UN, a lecturer of the Philosophy club, and a team lead in projects as part of classes at his high school.
