Cristina is committed to advancing community health and promoting environmental stewardship. Prior to The Kitchen Community (TKC), Cristina spent 10 years working in the environmental field providing both research and programmatic support to nonprofit and governmental organizations. Most recently, she worked as a researcher for a university-based institute focused on capacity building for tribal environmental programs throughout the nation. Cristina holds a MS from Northern Arizona University in Environmental Sciences and Policy and a BA in Environmental Studies and Sociology (dual major) from the University of San Francisco.
