Sierra Castedo
I'm a person in long-term recovery from addiction, and I've been part of the collegiate recovery world for just over five years. My interests center on public health approaches to addressing problematic substance use and behavioral health, including systems-level change, interdisciplinary collaboration, and bridging higher ed and community-based work. I want to live in a world free from stigma toward addiction, where shame and fear doesn't hold anyone back from getting help. I'm interested in solutions and system changes that help bring that world into focus. Embedding addiction recovery support into the educational environment is a huge step forward toward that goal, and that's what we'll be talking about at my panel. Come check us out!
