Lisa Xagas
Lisa Xagas received her bachelor's degree in special education at Southern Illinois University and her master's degree in Educational Leadership at Concordia University. She taught special education in a variety of classroom settings at a large suburban high school prior to joining the Administrative leadership team in her district. Ms. Xagas spent time as an Assistant Director for Special Education and Dean of Students where she found her calling towards ensuring all students receive the services and support they need to be successful. As the Director of Student Services for a large suburban school district, she has successfully co-developed and facilitated the social and emotional learning initiative positively impacting over 17,000 students. Passionate about ensuring students get what they need, she has a relentless focus on building the self-awareness, self-management, relationship skills and responsible decision making of both staff and students nationwide.
