Jeanne Stamp
Jeanne is a senior program coordinator for the Texas Homeless Education Office (THEO). She conducts training for educators, school administrators, and parents about the laws and rules regarding the education of highly mobile and homeless children, resolves school enrollment and attendance complaints regarding students experiencing homelessness, addresses legislative issues that affect children and youth in homeless situations, and provides assistance to the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act discretionary grant recipients in Texas.
Jeanne has worked for a number of nonprofit agencies in Texas, serving children and families with a variety of needs and issues.. She has been a line worker with child welfare, foster care, and adoption agencies; a child and adult therapist; and a clinical supervisor and program manager for a number of programs, including child welfare, foster care, and adoption; addiction recovery; domestic violence. Jeanne has a MSW from the University of Iowa.
