Eman Haggag

Eman has been teaching STEM education for nine years. She’s particularly excited about teaching science (a personal passion) in a project-based learning environment that helps make the subject matter fun and relatable for each child.

Prior to AltSchool, Eman taught chemistry, physics, math, biology, and general science to students in elementary, middle, and high school both in and out of classroom environments. Eman has taught various levels of students in public schools, private schools, charter schools, and an orphanage abroad. She holds a double degree in Chemistry and Education from the University of Maryland and is certified to teach K-12 math and science. Outside of teaching, Eman loves to do voice impersonations and is a huge fan of comedy. She is a voiceover actor, an improv actor, and part of a comedy troupe.
