Durya Nadeem is a 17 year old confident Pakistani American Muslim senior at Hilliard Darby High School. Along with being number one in her class academically, she is the Co-Founder of a non-profit, Peace-Builders, whose mission is to break chains of ignorance and build bridges among different cultures and religions through positive interfaith communication. With her various activities throughout the Ohio community, and even nationally, she is known to be involved in the Teen Ambassador program for Attorney General Mike DeWine, Board Member of the Safe Alliance of Interfaith Leaders, Franklin County Youth Council, Citizen University’s Inaugural Youth Collaboratory, Muslim Student Association and a myriad of others. With her touching words, she is an advocate for peace, justice, equality, and unity for all. Grateful for her supportive family and community, Durya serves a role model for all and a leader for many generations.
