Christopher Walker

As the Chief Data Scientist (formerly CTO) for Illuminate Education, Chris Walker is passionate about creating transformational technology tools for K-12 education. Prior to Illuminate, he served as Director of Technology for DataDirector Solutions, a division of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. In both roles, he contributed leadership (and code) to SaaS development and hardware systems teams who built top quality K-12 data and assessment applications. He is now building the next generation of data science and predictive analytics tools at Illuminate. In December 2015, Chris received his Master of Information and Data Science degree from UC Berkeley. He is rarely seen without a hat.
