Julia Singer is a senior at the International School of the Americas. She is currently the CEO of Apps for Aptitude which is a non-profit that focuses on providing free educational opportunities to high school students. Through her non-profit, she is the Director of School’s Out Hackathon which is the largest high school hackathon in Texas. Her event was showcased on the PBS segment called Sci-Tech Now. Also, she was a finalist for the San Antonio Business Journal Tech Titans Advocate Award. Julia was recognized for her work with students and technology by the National Center of Women in Technology this past year. She currently is the Ambassador for SA Works which is an organization focussed on employing students into the workforce. Julia has worked at H-E-B in the IT department where she helped them develop their news page on a mobile application. She also worked at Trinity University in the Entrepreneurship department where she helped with curriculum and planned out events.
