I am driven by the search for what's next; a better, deeper, more thoughtful solution. An inquisitive person by nature, I am a problem-solver who grew up learning by doing - by taking things apart and putting them back together again just to see how they work. This same approach of questioning assumptions, learning how systems work, then putting the pieces together in new and different ways applies to my school design work. I believe that there can always be a more meaningful solution – one that is both purposeful today and supportive of future goals. As a school planner and designer the most important part of my job is to listen. I have found that collaboration breeds true innovation. I am grateful every day for the opportunity to make a difference for the teachers and students in their work.
