Dawn Carlton

Dawn Carlton graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 and has worked in a variety educational settings including educational program developer for two museums, district autism specialist, and special education teacher with the majority of her experience in the Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities. For the past eight years, she has taught in a collaborative inclusion preschool classroom in Austin ISD. During her years in education, she has been a panelist at the Texas State Conference on Autism, participated on the teams that developed PPCD handbooks for both the local school district and regional education service center, and was selected as a semi-finalist for district teacher of the year.
