Paige Atchley
I am a high-energy, enthusiastic problem solver who enjoys building relationships, facing challenges, and traveling. I currently serve as the Read to be Ready Program Director for the Tennessee Department of Education. In 2016, I served on the lead team that developed the Read to be Ready initiative and was responsible for expanding the campaign into new communities. I also designed the Read to be Ready Summer Grant program and managed over $800,000 in funds that were awarded to 20 recipients. In 2017, I was responsible for managing an expansion of the summer grant program of over $9 million in less than six months. Because of this expansion, grant programs were funded in over 200 schools and almost 2,000 educators were trained. Currently, I am overseeing the third grant cycle, which includes allocating and tracking a new $10M dollar budget that will fund grant programs in over 260 schools and provide training for over 2,000 educators.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee in May 2014 with a BS in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Marketing and International Business and a minor in Communication Studies. In 2016, I graduated with honors from Lipscomb University with a Master's of Education in Instructional Practice.
