Laura Hansen

Laura serves as the Director for Information Management and Decision Support for Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS). She is responsible for establishing and supporting a strategic vision related to data-informed decision making and action by both the school district and community/city partners. Prior to taking on this position, Laura served in the Mayor’s Office of Children and Youth, where her work was guided by a belief in and commitment to implementing a collective impact approach to improving outcomes for Nashville’s youngest citizens. She serves on the board of directors for the Data Quality Campaign, the North American Management Board for A4L, and is the TN LEA representative for the National Forum for Education Statistics.
