Amira has over 10 years of teaching and training experience and has presented at state and national conferences. As an adjunct instructor at UT, she developed and teaches Business Improv – Think On Your Feet in the Workplace and The Power of Leadership Presence for the Center for Professional Education. She is a presenter for SXSW Interactive and SXSW EDU 2016. On a freelance basis, Amira has delivered dozens of trainings to hundreds of participants, for numerous departments.

At McCombs, Amira is a Specialty Coach for the MBA+ Leadership Program. She coaches on topics of communication, women’s leadership, and career path (personal brand, mock interview, resume, cover letter). She has logged over 100 coaching hours, with nearly 100% repeat client rate. Also within MBA+, she has given guest lectures, webinars, and workshops on think on your feet, self-promotion, executive presence, and business ethics topics. She has presented orientation sessions on communication, culture, teamwork, and taking risks/managing failure to an incoming class of full-time MBAs, and to International MBA students. In addition, Amira has provided improv staff retreat programming for MBA+ and Student Services teams. She has published articles in McCombs Today and MBA Insider.
