JP Connolly
JP Connolly is an educator, microbiologist, technologist, baker, tinkerer and amateur engineer, and currently serves as the Director of Technology and MS/HS Science teacher at Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn, NY. A Baltimore native, JP has undergraduate degrees in Biology and Japanese and a Masters in Microbiology and Immunology, and worked as a research fellow at Osaka University in Japan before settling in NYC and beginning his work in K-12 education at Saint Ann’s. JP serves on the NY State Association of Independent Schools Technology Committee, is an emeritus President of the New York Consortium of Independent School Technologists, and works to encourage the integration of neuroscience, pedagogy-driven instructional technology, mindfulness, ethics and equity into K-12 curricula of all types. JP is perpetually inspired by his students and sons, who are continue to be his best teachers.
