Chris Liang-Vergara
Chris Liang-Vergara is a nationally recognized leader in education innovation, with more than a decade of experience in education and personalized learning. He was a K-12 educator for over 10 years and was named as one of the Top 40 Innovators in Education for 2013 by the Center for Digital Education and a 2015-16 Pahara Institute NextGen Leader. He is the former Director of Educational Technology for FirstLine Schools where he helped design blended learning models. Prior to FirstLine, Liang-Vergara was a 9th grade physics teacher and technology integration specialist at Noble Street Charter School. Chris holds BAs in Biology and Secondary Education from Washington University in St. Louis and a M.A.Ed. in Curriculum, Technology, and Education Reform from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
