Dr. Pamela Redmond founded the Center for Innovative Learning and Teaching at Touro University California. She created the Innovative Learning Master's degree program in which candidates document their capstone project research activities via learninginnovationlab.com. Dr. Redmond co-chaired the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education Committee on Innovation and Technology and chaired of the Teacher Education Consortium Special Interest Group of California CUE. Her research and policy work focus on creating equity for all students through classroom innovation that leverages new media and technology. Her passion lies in supporting teachers to envision redesign of learning spaces, communities and teaching practices to better address the needs of the future workforce and student learning. While still in the classroom, assisted the California Technology Assistance Project and Department of Education to develop a continuum of teacher professional development in the use of technology. By invitation, she joined the writing teams for the first CA Technology Standards for Teachers and ISTE National EdTech Standards for Teachers.
