Erin Riley
Erin Riley is Director of the Engineering and Design Lab at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, CT, USA, a preK-12 independent school for girls. With a background in art and design, she teaches engineering, design and art classes that use maker technologies as tools for self-expression and facilitates integrated curricular projects with a focus on material-based making and digital fabrication. Working as a Stanford FabLearn Fellow, Erin blogs on the topic of maker education and teaches a course in Creative Technologies at Teachers College in the Art and Art Education program. Additionally, Erin creates open-source sharable materials for teachers implementing maker education into their classrooms, makerspaces and fab labs.
