Stephen Tschudi
Stephen L. Tschudi has taught Chinese language at the University of Hawaii since 1988 and is co-author of Encounters: Global Chinese Language & Culture (2016), Yale University Press. He holds an MA in Chinese Language and an MA in English as a Second Language from the University of Hawai‘i. Currently a staff member of the National Foreign Language Resource Center (NFLRC) and of the Language Flagship Technology Innovation Center (Tech Center), he is past recipient of an Excellence in Teaching Award from the Hawaii Association of Language Teachers, past board member of the Chinese Language Teachers Association, and current board member of the Hawai‘i Association of Language Teachers. He is a veteran instructor of the Middlebury College Chinese School and of numerous STARTALK-funded summer Chinese language camps
