Monica Milligan

Monica Milligan oversees a diverse portfolio of client work that integrates TNTP’s approaches on academics, talent management, and supportive environments for students and teachers.
Previously, as a Partner, Monica launched TNTP’s Innovative Schools practice, which helps states, districts, and schools design and implement innovative models of learning and teaching. Prior to joining TNTP, Monica served as the Chief Operating Officer at KIPP Austin Public Schools, where she helped the network double its size and led the acquisition and renovation of three campuses. She also led several district-wide innovation initiatives at Chicago Public Schools, including the implementation of a longer school day and year across 650 schools. Monica also served as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she helped Fortune 500 companies craft their growth strategies and transform their operations. Monica was also a middle school math teacher in New Orleans.
