Driven by the ideal of providing equal education opportunities for all learners, Emily founded Practice. A former Teach for America corps member, KIPP teacher and education lawyer, Emily embraces technology’s potential to help educators scale great teaching and learning. In her role overseeing all client accounts and learning initiatives at Practice, Emily ensures that each user maximizes the platform’s learning benefits. She also plays an integral role in guiding the platform’s product development.

Emily frequently presents on topics related to skill development and the challenges of scaling corporate learning and assessment. Recent presentations include talks at ATD, Masie Learning, and Reimagine Education. Emily is the co-author of the patented system and method for online interactive learning and feedback that forms the foundation of the Practice platform.

Emily holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, and a J.D. from Drexel University Law School.

In November 2017, Practice was acquired by Instructure, where Emily is now the VP of Customer Engagement.
