Ilse Pollet
Ilse Pollet is the Executive Director of the Alliance for Language Learners’ Integration, Education and Success (ALLIES), a coalition of ESL providers, workforce development boards, public agencies and community based organizations the Silicon Valley region. Ilse brings over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of adult education and immigrant integration. She has an extensive background in foreign language instruction, curriculum development and program design in a variety of settings, including adult schools and community based organizations. Before joining ALLIES, she oversaw the ESL program at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, serving refugees and immigrants in the San Francisco Bay Area. In her current role, she works on expanding and strengthening the multi-sector collaborative network championed by ALLIES; as well as leading the further development and implementation of the Immigrant Integration Framework across ALLIES partners. An immigrant and English learner herself, Ilse moved to the US in 2006 and recently became a US Citizen.
