Misty Maxwell

My passion for learning began early; as a child I would tell people that when I grew up I wanted to be a professional student! Now I am an educator with 15 years of experience in public education, I hold a Masters in Instructional Technology, and recently obtained my Principal certification. Prior to teaching I worked in many fields that interested me to find that perfect fit. I have worked in the oil field, been a technical writer, a lab technician, an environmental professional, and taught adults technology. While working as a computer support/on-site trainer for a small company, I realized technology was the future and that I loved it. My life-long learning outlook and ability to process then break down information was a natural fit for technology education. My five year plan is to become a Principal and share my vision of learning through technology with all stakeholders.
