Brian A. Bolinger is the Chief Executive Officer of the Texas State Historical Association (TSHA), an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Originally from Elkhart, Indiana, he earned a B. A. in History at DePauw University while lettering in varsity football each year. He attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, where he earned a M. S. in Kinesiology and was named graduate student of the year. He then received a J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law. Brian Bolinger has a strong commitment to nonprofit work not only through TSHA but also with the Vascular Birthmarks Foundation (VBF). He and his wife Natalie reside in Austin, Texas with their two children, Brock and Nicole.
