Kristen Procko
Kristen earned her PhD in chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin (UT). After graduation, she accepted a non-tenure track faculty position at UT, where she taught a group of undergraduate students to perform research in synthetic organic chemistry with applications in biochemistry, and spent summers as a study abroad faculty leader teaching organic chemistry to UT students in Spain. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Saint Joseph, Connecticut, where she teaches Master’s courses in organic, medicinal, heterocyclic, and biochemistry. She has industry experience in both medicinal and agricultural chemistry and consults for an agriculture company. She has a strong interest in informal learning, and in her free time enjoys studying languages.
