Preben Kristiansen

Preben is a seasoned entrepreneur with deep and diverse investing, operational, and financial experience. After seven years in the Norwegian Navy, Preben joined Canica, a Norwegian multi-billion dollar family office, as a senior team member on both investment and portfolio operations functions. After two years with Canica, he left to co-found a grocery delivery business in the Nordic region. In 2016, Preben was selected as one of the 100 top leadership talents in Norway. He joined No Isolation, a Norwegian startup, in 2017 as Managing Director of US Operations in order to lead their US expansion efforts. No Isolation has a single purpose: to reduce involuntary social isolation. No Isolation's first goal was to reduce loneliness amongst children suffering from long-term illness. They created AV1, the world’s first communication robot that allows children to partake in their daily life, despite their illness. No Isolation has been named the winner of both "Startup of the year" and "Best Social Impact Startup" in 2017 by Nordic Startup Awards.
