Anne Burt

Anne Burt is the Chief Creative Officer at Facing History and Ourselves, an international education nonprofit whose mission is to engage students of diverse backgrounds in examining racism, prejudice, and anti-semitism in order to promote the development of a more humane and informed citizenry. Before joining Facing History, she was Director of Communications, Public Affairs, and Marketing for Columbia University’s School of the Arts. Anne has taught university classes in writing and literature, edited two collections of essays, and been published in numerous magazines and on NPR.
