Can Personalized Learning Replace Testing?
Presented by Educational Testing Service:
Assessment is a critical part of education, just as it is for medicine. It is the process by which we guide people to a desired outcome. Standardized tests have long provided a unique form of data as a key part of the educational assessment process. But, are tests still the best way to get the data we need to help inform education? Can educational technologies, including personalized learning systems, make standardized testing data obsolete or might they be used in harmony?
