The Dual Language Imperative

Urban schools are embattled on seemingly every side. By embracing the inherent strengths of a multilingual community and “leaning in” to bilingualism and ethnic diversity, city schools like El Paso, Austin, and Orlando are changing their value proposition within their communities as 21st-century skills and global-ready workforce incubators. The panel will share their strategies for scaling and supporting dual language schools.
