The educational, health, social, and behavioral sciences are inundated with causal research questions. The emergence of big data and associated processing capabilities led to complacency that big data analytics can come to the rescue. In this talk, we will investigate the synergistic roles of data science and causal inference play in helping us uncover relationships between data and its ability to answer causal research or business questions.
