Disrupting the Walled Garden

Recording: Disrupting the Walled Garden, Mar 7, 2018

The extensive and accelerated adoption of curriculum designed around personalized technology and digital learning platforms has taken higher education by storm, but has left little time for instructors to determine whether these new learning tools meet course needs and/or actually help students learn. This session will argue that true inclusiveness in higher education will not occur unless the traditional walled garden approach to building digital tools for teachers and learners ceases.
