Transforming LA's K-12 Public Schools

This session will examine how an in-district, public-private management model is transforming 18 of the highest needs K-12 traditional public schools in Los Angeles—the nation’s second largest school district. During the presentation, speaker Joan Sullivan will discuss the successful school management model that includes hiring the best principals and assistant principals, building teacher capacity, and working with parents and partners to ensure the best possible education for students.
