As the desire for data becomes increasingly important in the educational landscape, creating an authentic writers’ workshop is challenging. So, how do you quantify the thinking, conversations, and processes within workshop? SBISD has worked to make formative writing data visible and actionable without sacrificing the workshop approach. Participants will discuss this issue, gather different ways to formalize writing process data, and learn from our successes and challenges.
