The workshop begins with an overview of our competency-based education (CBE) framework— six core pedagogical elements and the technological implications of each. Participants then engage in stations: diving deep into each element, developing change management strategies, and discussing how institutions have implemented CBE and supportive technology. Afterwards, participants’ insights drive group discussion to answer central questions institutions must ask as they envision and shape their CBE model.
