Quick Bio

Kevin Alster is a Learning Designer at The School of The New York Times, working with Times staff to produce multimedia learning experiences. Prior to this work, he was in K-1 schools in rural Arkansas and Brooklyn, NY as both a self-contained classroom teacher and later instructional coach for 6 years. He graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University with an M.A. in Instructional Technology and Media. He continues to work in educational technology to provide learning experiences to share stories.
